It's Snowing On My Piano

When Bugge Wesseltoft recorded «It ́s snowing on my Piano» in 1997, no one – himself included – believed this would become a cult album and one of the ACT la- bels ́s most sold releases. Behind the recording lies a philosophy that we all should think about as Christmas draws near. To use some of Wesseltoft ́s own words about the choice of music for the album; «Snowing on my piano» was made based on a wish for peace and tranquility at christmas time, a break from stress, the hys- teria of gifts and the need to be so incredibly happy all the time. These were the criteria behind the recording.»

Wesseltoft has performed this material for us before in Stavanger, but we are most happy to welcome him back once again. He will present his versions of some of the festive seasons most exquisite hymns, stripped right down, just one man and his piano on stage in the Fartein Valen room. What more could one ask for in the hectic run-up to Christmas?
